3 Dental Treatments to Get Before Your Wedding Day

You have already bought your dream gown or that coveted tux. The perfect venue and entertainment are all set for your wedding day. The only thing that is worrying you is whether or not you will manage to smile for the perfect wedding photo. Dental treatments before your wedding day will help you smile confidently for those perfect pictures.

Dental treatments

Regardless of your level of confidence, there are various ways to fix your smile. You can use these 3 dental treatments before your wedding:

Restorative dental work

Are you worried that your chipped, cracked or broken teeth will ruin your wedding day? We can do bonding, veneers or crowns to help you get back that smile for your big day.

Bonding involves application/bonding tooth-colored materials on the tooth surface. This helps in closing any spaces between your teeth and improves the appearance of a chipped, cracked or broken tooth.

Veneers are thin shells that cover the front side of the teeth. You can opt for these if you want to treat any chipped, worn out, ill-shaped or permanently stained teeth. Veneers are custom-made and can also be used to cover any spaces you have between your teeth.

Crowns, on the other hand, can be your go-to dental treatments in case veneers do not do the trick. These are tooth-shaped “caps” and are placed over the teeth. Think of them as crowns for your ill-shaped teeth. Apart from improving the appearance of your teeth, crowns also restore their size and strength.

Teeth whitening

If your teeth are stained, teeth whitening might just be the dental treatment you need. There are various ways to do this, including visiting your dentist for a tooth whitening procedure. This is ideal if your teeth have significant discoloring.

Alternatively, you can buy over-the-counter tooth whitening strips or kits. These will work if you need extra whitening or your teeth are not significantly discolored. Apart from these, you also have the option of using laser whitening or whitening trays.

Your teeth will always appear whiter the day you whiten them or even the following day. Therefore, if you settle for strips or trays as your teeth whitening treatments before your wedding day, do a touch up on the eve of your wedding.

Braces

The old narrative that braces belong to kids and make one ugly is oversold. Advancements in the dental world have brought along both clear and invisible braces. In case you want to straighten your teeth, fill in the gaps between your teeth or reduce the crowding of your teeth before your wedding day, you can always get yourself a set of braces.

However, this is not an overnight miracle, so you need to get down to it as soon as possible. Your engagement might be your cue to get those braces.

No matter how stained, cracked, chipped or spaced your teeth are, you can get dental treatments before your wedding day to boost your smile.
